Baby Claire is finally starting to eat, though through the tube. Her little tummy is ready to digest it. There is still a long way to go before she can come home, but even the little milestones deserve a cheer! 🙂
There have been no major changes with Claire this week. She is slowly recovering from surgery and has started dialysis to which she is still adjusting. Claire's surgery was pulled forward to today.There is much to tell- too much for this sleepy momma- but the highlight is that she is out of surgery and is sleeping well. Claire Marie was able to breathe so they whisked her to Cook's for testing and dialysis. The next update will be on Friday unless her health deteriorates. The family thanks you for your prayers and thoughts.

The renal doctors are very optimistic about Claire's situation to the point of if she needs to be delivered now, they are not worried.
